This television has a beautiful picture, good sound, and is a pretty set. My husband keeps shouting at the tv for those people to "get out of our living room!" Great price for the quality. -- Captain Kirk is in my living room!

I was looking to upgrade to a 40" LCD with quality picture, decent onboard sound, surround sound and internet/wifi capability and she wants easy on/off with remote volume control and with those requirements I did my research. My search ended at Amazon for the LN40C630 with the lowest price, free shipping and very good reviews. The LCD TV arrived safe and on the schedule date. Removing the Samsung LCD TV from the box and set up was a breeze. The hardest part was removing my old 38" cathode tube tv that weigh well over 80 lbs.
This Samsung TV is beautiful and classy looking and was definetely wife approval with all the necessary features for her and myself. My first week of use with this Samsung tv was fairly good with a little blurring during fast actions and without the HD signal. The following week I had upgraded to the HD signal and here is where the LCD TV performed to what its designed to do. The color, detailing and action is top notch! I used recommended setting that a amazon reviewer poster had listed with a couple of my own changes. I found that all LCD have a little blurring during fast action even at 4 ms respond time, but the more you use the tv the more the blurring smooth out. The one itch I have is only when using the Directv remote, you have to press the on button twice to get the Samsung TV to turn on and repeatly press the volume to increase the sound. After 30 days of use, I really enjoy viewing with my Samsung LCD tv that I have decided to protect with investment with a 3 year warranty from Amazon as well. My ratings are conservative and I want to thank the good guys at Amazon for another happy purchase!! -- Samsung and Amazon can't be beat!!

I am very happy with my Samsung TV. I like the ALLSHARE feature although when playing music files I have noticed not all file types are supported - the MP3 files play fine. This TV also has PIP which is great if you have a need for that or just want it. The 24p is supported by this TV on playing blu ray discs. -- Good TV

This is a truly outstanding TV. The picture is incredibly life-like. I have had the tv for a month now and there have been no problems with the setup or anything else. I also have a 50" Samsung plasma, one year old now, and it too is incredible. The LCD weighs only 33 or 37 pounds -- just so easy to move around. I was going to buy a slightly smaller screen but the price differentials between the 40" and even a comparable 32" were pretty small. -- Outstanding TV

We have always purchased Sony TVs as part of an ongoing tradition but that has now ended with the purchase of this TV. Our hearts have been won over! The stunning image and text quality this TV provides is truly remarkable, especially when paired with an HD receiver connected with an HDMI cable.

Prior to this purchase, we were uncertain whether this TV would present glare issues as we read in reviews that Samsungs are notorious for their glossy reflective screens. Since our purchase, we have not experienced any sort of issues with glare. In fact, in our brightly lit daylight living room the image on the screen remains vibrant, clear and glare free.

The built-in TV speakers provide excellent sound and do not require additional investment in a high-end audio system.

The thing that attracted us most to this TV was its value! We paid $665 for this TV after some internet rebates. This by itself distinguishes Samsung from Sony and other manufacturers.

Setup and installation were a breeze and the operating manual was clear and well-written. We encountered no issues navigating the TV settings and the on-screen menus are intuitive and useful. The overall build quality appears to be sturdy and the product seems to be constructed with quality materials.
