Ok, let's get this whole Digital versus Analog thing out in the open.
You can't take some wires/connectors and change a digital signal to an analog signal; PERIOD!
This goes for all the adapters and cables Amazon has to offer that are in the business of HDMI, S-VIDEO, COMPONENT VIDEO, AND COMPOSITE VIDEO to analog Adapting.

YOU NEED A CONVERTER TO DO THIS!
You will also need a converter to change all analog (but RGB analog) to VGA analog.

Component (Y,Pb,Pr (analog)) Video to VGA and S-video/Component Video to VGA converters are priced under $100.00.
HDMI to VGA is a different bag of worms and will cost you from $200.00 to $300.00 to convert.
